RoR is relaunching its RoR Heart Awards and we want you to tell us your inspiring stories. Open to all owners of registered RoR former racehorses, this is your chance to tell us from your heart why your horse is a winner! Whether you’ve retrained your former racehorse for fun or to compete, enter the category you feel your horse best deserves to win.
The four categories are:
- RoR Biggest Heart (Best temperament)
- RoR Heart Throb (Best looking horse)
- RoR Heart Stopper (Overcome adversity)
- RoR Healthy Heart (Best all-round performer)
Visit www.ror-events.org.uk to find out more and to enter your former racehorse. Entries close on Sunday 23rd September 2018. A shortlist of six Nominees for each Heart Award category will be chosen by RoR for you to vote on.
The most popular three Nominees from each category will go forward to the Final with the live reveal of each Heart Award winner announced at the RoR End of Season Party at Doncaster Racecourse on 17th November.
Let us bring you all together whether you’re an RoR owner, rider or supporter. Enjoy a celebration of everything we love about former racehorses, and raise a glass to all of the memories made over the past year. The night will include a cocktail reception, followed by a three-course gala dinner and an Awards Ceremony, then a DJ to get the party started!
RoR will be pulling out all the stops to make the 2018 RoR End of Season Party a night to remember, with a new ceremony for the RoR Grassroots Awards and Heart Awards, a star guest, and a chance to see your own horse on the big screen.
Book your tickets at www.ror-events.org.uk at £60 per person or book by 30th September 2018 for the Early Bird offer of £55 each. Bring your friends along and if you book a table for 10 people you only pay for 9 tickets.
RoR is always interested to hear of other success stories so please email us and send a photograph of your own story.
