RoR Wales Lincomb camp JUNE 2024
RoR Wales & Borders camp 2024 is here! 31st May-2nd June.
Arrive from 5pm onwards on Friday 31st if you wish to stable for two nights.
Lesson days are Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd June.
The fantastic facilities at Lincomb equestrian offer you the choice of showjumping, XC or flat/pole work lessons.
You will receive 2 shared lessons each day (Sat & Sun), you may PYO combination of lessons. Non jumpers are welcome.
Back by popular demand following 2023 camp we have Jon Rogers and Abby Lloyd two top coaches who have a depth of knowledge with RoR's. A third coach will be recruited if numbers dictate.
Jon is a British Eventing and British Showjumping Accredited Coach, BE u18 Coach and UKCC coach Educator.
He has been part of the 2018/19 BEF National Development Programme for coaching Excellence. He regularly does regional training for British Eventing in the North West area and is currently coaching riders from grassroots level-3*\1.40.
He has spent 15 years working within the Racing Industry where he rode in Point to Points and under rules where he held a Category A license. A lot of his work was breaking and pre training both flat and National Hunt horses which then went on to several big trainers such as Alan king, Nicky Henderson, Paul Nicholls and many more. He had the pleasure of working/starting some fantastic horses such as Barber Shop, owned by Her Late Majesty The Queen and multiple Grade 1 winner Sprinter Sacre.
Abby is experienced with all levels of horse and rider combinations, whether you are just learning to ride through to reaching goals out competing. Sessions are tailored to the individual, catering for confidence building and progression. Abby holds her UKCC Level 2 Generic, UKCC Level 2 British Eventing Development Coach, BHS Accredited Professional Coach, Safeguarding, DBS and First Aid certified.
If you have no Lorry to sleep in don’t worry!! There is a range of accommodation on site for you to book, this is on a first come first serve basis.
All meals and refreshments are included within the camp price.
Arenas
Cross country course, show jumps, off road riding etc.
- A 20m x 40m flat arena
- A 45 x 60m Pole/grid, flat work arena
- A 40m x 60m show jumping arena
- A 60m x 60m simulated XC arena with adjoining 300m surfaced canter track
- 8 miles of off road riding
- An extensive cross country course
Stabling
Each stable will be supplied with a single rubber mat in the door way but no bedding. Owners can supply their own or we can provide small bales of straw at cost. (we reserve the right to increase prices due to market value).
Each barn also has its own storage area for hay and feed and one barn has its own tack room. There is an additional tack room available also. We will supply you with a key that will open both tack rooms, these are your responsibility to keep locked and all equipment left is done so entirely at the owners risk.

We ask that you vacate the facility by 5pm on the final day of camp.
