Training RoR Scotland - Insight Day with Paul Robson Racing - South Hazelrigg - NE66 5RZ

RoR Scotland in colaboration with the BHS.

A chance for a behind the scenes look into the life of a racehorse, it's routine, training, feeding and much more at South Hazelrigg. They moved to Hazelrigg in 2024, a state of the art yard in Northumberland, their aim is to nurture happy, healthy horses who are in the best possible condition physically and mentally, at home and whenever they go to the races. The amazing range of bespoke, hi-tech facilities they are privileged to have onsite are second to none, allowing them to leave no stone unturned in how they prepare and care for their horses.

Paul, a former jump Jockey worked and rode winners for Ferdy Murphy, Jonjo O'Nell and Nicky Richards was placed in amateur and conditional riders titles before injury forced retirement along with his wife Steph, who is also a qualified instructor with a background in eventing and showjumping have recruited a first class team including point to point riders, a producer of RoR show horses to the highest level are all really looking forward to welcoming you to South Hazelrigg!

PM -talk on the retraining process from Amy Bannister-Bell BHSI and RoR Wales Regional Development Officer

We will discuss what the retraining process involves, advice on how to maintain good practices for a successful retraining journey and what support is out there to assist you if you choose to take on an ex racehorse or if you already own a retrained racehorse.

4 BHS CPD points will be gained for BHS members who attends.

Also approved for BS, BE and BD CPD endorsement.
