Training RoR Northern - Social Evening with Guest Speakers George and Daisy Chaloner at The Feathers, Helmsley YO62 5BH

17th October, 2024

We are thrilled to welcome both our members and non-members of RoR, to a social evening at the beautiful location of The Feathers Hotel in Helmsley, North Yorkshire.

Of course, no social evening would be worth attending without brilliant guest speakers, and this one is no exception.

Come along and meet George and Daisy Chaloner, managers of Cliff Stud, a renowned horse breeding and training facility, also located in Helmsley. This fabulous duo will be telling us all about their work at Cliff Stud, breeding of racehorses, how important pre and post racing season preparation is for the racehorse and how they go about handling and training the horses in their care.

Of course, and social event needs refreshments, and included within the ticket price is tea, coffee and a chip butty to ensure you don’t go home hungry. The facilities at the Feathers Hotel are great, so you will of course be able to buy soft and alcoholic drinks at the bar.

We will also be holding a raffle with a special prize to be announced on the night. We are sure anyone with their own horse or family pet will love it!
