Series RoR Winter Championships

The Winter Championships were held on 17-19 April 2026 at Pickering Grange Equestrian Centre in Leicestershire.

Qualification details

The qualification period for all dressage, showjumping, and arena eventing classes is from 1 September 2025 to 7 April 2026.

Dressage qualification 

• Intro Championship:
  • Restricted (min 63% x two) combinations not to have competed at prelim level or above nor won any RoR regional or National Championships at intro level.
  • Open (min 65% x two) combinations not to have competed at novice or above
     
• Prelim Championship:
  • Restricted (min 63% x two) combinations not to have competed at novice level or above or above nor won any RoR regional or National Championships at prelim level
  • Open (min 65% x two) open to all
  • Veteran (min 65% x two) open to horses aged 15 years or over
     
• Novice Championship:
  • Restricted (min 62% x two) combinations not to have competed at elementary level or above or above nor won any RoR regional or National Championships at novice level.
  • Open (min 64% x two) open to all
  • Veteran (min 65% x two) open to horses aged 15 years or over
     
• Elementary Championship:
  • Restricted (min 60% x two) combinations not to have competed at medium level or above nor won any RoR regional or National Championships at elementary level.
  • Open (min 62% x two) open to all.
  • Veteran (min 61% x two) open to horses aged 15 years or over
     
• Medium Championship:
  • Restricted (min 60% x two) combinations not to have competed at advanced medium level or above nor won any RoR Regional or National Championships at medium level.
  • Open (min 62% x two) open to all.
  • Veteran (min 61% x two) open to horses aged 15 years or over
     
• Advanced Medium Championship: open to all (min 60% x two)

Showjumping and arena eventing

To qualify, competitors must achieve two completion results per intended Championship level. Combinations may qualify for two Championship classes as long as the heights are consecutive.

This is a stand-alone event and apart from the Showing Series classes, does not qualify for any other RoR Championship competition.

Eligibility

Horses must be RoR competition registered. Riders must be 15yrs and over on 1 January of current year.

Stabling at the RoR Winter Championships

Competition Barn:

• 1 night = £60
• 2 nights = £80
• 3 nights = £100

Wooden Temps: Early bird deal available until 28 February

• 1 night = £30
• 2 nights = £40
• 3 nights = £50

Wooden Temps: From 1 March

• 1 night = £40
• 2 nights = £50
• 3 nights = £60

Shavings: £10 per bale

No straw allowed.

EHU:

• 1 night = £40
• 2 nights = £60
• 3 nights = 80
