Series RoR/BD Affiliated Dressage Horse Awards

Eligibility

To be eligible your horse must be fully registered with British Dressage and have current Competition Membership with RoR. Riders must have full BD Membership and be 15 years and over on 1st January of the current year.

Qualification criteria and prizes

• In 2026 RoR will offer a voucher for RoR official merchandise to each winner in the below. Each winner will receive an invite to the RoR Awards at Cheltenham - date tbc.
• The winner of the Prelim Award will be the horse/rider combination with the highest overall percentage of their top six results from Prelim classes only in the period 1 January to 30 September 2026.
• The winner of the Novice Award will be the horse/rider combination with the highest overall percentage of their top six results from Novice classes only in the period 1 January to 30 September 2026.
• The winner of the Elementary Award will be the horse/rider combination with the highest overall percentage of their top six results from Elementary classes only in the period 1 January to 30 September 2026.
• The winner of the Medium Award will be the horse/rider combination with the highest overall percentage of their top six results from Medium classes only in the period 1 January to 30 September 2026.
• The winner of the Advanced Medium Plus Award will be the horse/rider combination with the highest overall percentage of their top six results from Advanced Medium or above classes only in the period 1 January to 30 September 2026.

Useful information

Results gained from My Quest, Team Quest, Horse Trials, Freestyle, BE or Pony Club, Online and unaffiliated tests do not count towards this award.
