RoR Camps
About RoR Camps
RoR Camps offer a unique opportunity for owners of former racehorses to immerse themselves in a fun and educational environment and be part of the RoR community. Whether you're just beginning the retraining journey or you're a more experienced combination, we welcome all levels and abilities at our camps.
- Want to focus on building confidence on the flat? Absolutely fine; we can tailor your lesson schedules to suit and swap any jumping for flatwork and/or polework.
- Working towards jumping? Great - our coaches are ready and willing to help get you started.
- Already out competing and aiming to progress further? Come along - the coaches we use are highly experienced with former racehorses and can help you get the best out of yours.
Included in each camp are further unmounted activities like rider fitness, feeding talks, and mindset workshops, allowing camp attendees to build knowledge and have fun in a supportive setting.
Both residential and day attendance options are available, including unmounted attendance for those who prefer not to ride.
Who are they for?
- Current owners of former racehorses who would like to build their knowledge and strengthen their partnership with their horse.
- Prospective owners considering taking on a retired racehorse are welcomed at our camps unmounted (unmounted charge applies).
