BHA Board adopts the RoR Strategy 2024-2026
We are thrilled to share that the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) Board has adopted our three-year strategy, aimed at enhancing aftercare and the retraining of racehorses, as the industry's strategy for aftercare. The strategy, published earlier this year, sets ambitious goals under seven key pillars of work, reflecting our commitment to ensuring the wellbeing and successful transition of racehorses to new careers.
BHA’s letter, addressed to major stakeholders in the British racing industry, highlights the importance of our strategy and urges the racing community to support and adopt it as the industry’s strategy for aftercare. The BHA Board’s backing underscores the need for sustainable funding models and industry-wide collaboration to achieve our goals.
We hope that the racing industry will heed BHA’s call to action, recognising the critical role of RoR in the delivery of aftercare.
Our thanks go to the BHA Board for their support, and we look forward to working with all stakeholders to make this vision a reality. Together, we can ensure that every racehorse enjoys a fulfilling life beyond the track.
RoR is always interested to hear of other success stories so please email us and send a photograph of your own story.
